15-20 is pretty darn fun, too

I've been sailing Coyote Point these last few days and it's actually been really great. I spent my first few months in SF driving around to where ever I could get the MOST wind, but I'm finding out that sometimes it can be fun just to go some place you like and sail pretty darn good wind. The water conditions have been far from "victory-at-sea-forced-air-insanity", but sailing in less-epic conditions is helping me figure out my jibe timing in swelly stuff.

Looks like my friends on the east coast having been getting some tropical action. Good stuff! Glad to see you made it through the crappy summer!

NW with an ebb makes for some pretty flat water at Coyote...a relief from the usual jaw-breaking chop.

Get it while you can!

Hmm. I was looking closely, but did not see any catapults yesterday :)

sergey, come say hi next time at Coyote, I don't think we've met!

Today was excellent too... started on a 5.7, but got overpowered and rigged down to 5.0 and 85L. Even then still overpowered at times. Another great, yet totally unexpected day...

Absolutely! And here lies what I was trying to say - I know your sail and board, but not you personally. And the guy on your board was staying firmly planted! :)

I am easy to spot - I am the only guy in shades and a blue helmet.

Will try to go out Wednesday or Thursday (or both!)

Video guy in search of one who catapults. Could this be a visual acrobatic match made in heaven?
To imagine the result makes me shutter (at 30 fps).
