This guy, he got an aerial, then tweaked it.
At the end of last month a few of my "flatwater sailing" buddies and I headed to a spot whose name I dare not reveal. I will tell you it rhymes with "Schmavenport Glandings". It was a month ago, so I don't remember very much about it. The pictures tell me that the waves were occasionally head high, it was sunny and a bunch of my friends made it out. I'm pretty sure this was the day I buckled my freewave 86.

So which picture are you in? The Mauisails one?
I live on the east coast and even I know this spot. I drove there once while in the bay area and found it on my own without directions or help. This place was well documented in the mags in 90s and early 2000s. So why is it now such a big secret? just curious. The whole secret spot thing has always cracked me up.
Carl -- was riding an orange MS Legend (5.0)
Mac -- I was being a little over-the-top facetious. The crowd down there is surprisingly kind and inviting when you go down there and meet them, but you'll rarely see them posting on iWindsurf to share how good or bad their sessions are or what to look for to sail it on a great day. Not really a secret, but you have to go to know when you're starting out and take what ever hints you get as you go. (I'm talking, knowing when the wind will be good and how big the swell will be based on buoys/directions, etc.)
That's the way I see it, anyway. There are definitely a handful of guys who sail both coast and bay who have helped me a lot in terms of figuring out the where/when/how of those trips.
Dude, nice schpictures!
