Ah, my mistake. Regardless, you have access to lots of time on the water there in SF, so relatively speaking, it will go fairly quick. It took me nearly 3-4yrs from first trying them, but our sessions around here are far and few.
One recommendation: While it is fun to boost big ones, they are a lot harder to land. Work on them in flat or near flat water, it makes the landing-it part so much more reasonable to suss out.

Thanks for the tip, fish! I mainly work on them at a pretty flat spot. The ones I've tried to boost did not go well...lol
Yup it's hard. I'm only at attempt #50 so far though.
