The high speed explosion hurts. I nearly broke a rib back in December in my fastest crash ever...it stopped hurting about a week ago.

Years ago someone was marketing a harness 'quick release' the idea being that a sudden increase in pressure would open the hook, and save your butt from a brutal catapult. I don't think it worked very well, or they'd still be around (and I'd own one!)

Insane compilation of utter FUBAR! Thierry Bielak looked like he snapped his rig clean away from his board.
Got my nose sealed up with epoxy and glass. It’s not too pretty but I’ll be back soon with nothing to lose.
